Nizami Inaugurates Harvesting Activities
in Gazipur - 29/11/02

of Jamaat-e-Islami and Agriculture Minister Motiur Rahman Nizami inaugurated
the harvesting activities of Aman paddy in a village named 'Adhepasha'
of Gazipur district through harvesting by his own hand on 29/11/02.
He exchanged views with the farmers. Later he planted a tree in a
farmer's house.
He addressed a gathering of the farmers and requested them to cultivate
highly productive seeds in order to increase agricultural production.
He assured them that the government would take necessary steps in
controlling the brick fields for ensuring pollution free environment.

Masjids Overflowed in Jumatul Bida -
29/11/02

Masjids
all over Bangladesh were overflowed with devote Muslims during the
Juma prayer on 29/11/02. It was the last Juma of Ramadan. The picture
shows Baitul Mukarram National Mosque. The mosque could not accommodate
even half of the devotees. People had to pray in the streets. It was
a common picture in all mosques in Dhaka and other places.
